Morecambe's superb, new £12m Globe Arena became the club's home from the start of the 2010/11 season.
As well as providing a fantastic football stadium for Morecambe fans, officials, players and guests, the Globe Arena incorporates state-of-the-art all-weather facilities for a range of community sports activities.
It also has sumptuous function rooms available for a range of events including weddings and parties, corporate dinners, conferences and business meetings.

The Globe Arena main stand accommodates 2,173 spectators, all seated. Internal facilities on three floors include, on the ground floor, advanced changing, first-aid, gym and office facilities for players and management and on the public side, a bar, club shop and reception area.
On the first floor a 387m/sq hospitality suite is available for matchday use. This large room can be sub-divided into three separate areas for smaller functions and private parties. It is available throughout the year for non-matchday functions. It is available for conferencing use, for up to 360 people.
On the second floor are a number of private lounges accommodating various numbers of people, all with private catering facilities and their own 'bird's eye' view of the action.
These are also available for hire on non match days.
The home stand accommodates 2,234 standing spectators and has bar and catering outlets in a large enclosed concourse to the rear of the stand.
The away accommodates 1,389 standing visitors and also has its own bar and catering outlet.
The open terrace opposite the main stand accommodates 606 standing home fans with catering facilities available.
The community sports area has extensive, latest surface technology outdoor 'all weather' pitches available for hire.
Sports catered for include football, hockey, netball, basketball and volleyball.
The community changing building will house a gymnasium, suitable for boxing, workout and aerobic exercising.
Membership arrangements will be available for all the facilities and users have access throughout the week to the Globe Arena cafe/bar.
Getting to the Globe Arena
By road: Leave the M6 motorway at junction 34 and follow signs to Morecambe. Cross the River Lune via Greyhound Bridge in the left hand lane and continue following signs for Morecambe onto the A589. At the first two roundabouts keep in the right hand lane and carry straight on. At the third (Shrimp) roundabout turn left and continue along Westgate for about a mile. You will pass Morecambe Fire Station on your right just before you reach the Globe Arena, also on your right.
By rail: At Morecambe train station walk along the platform and follow the bicycle / walking signs around the end of the railway line. Continue until reaching West End Road. Cross the road, go down Acre Moss Lane and follow this for its full length (towards the end it becomes Buckingham Road). Upon reaching Regent Road/Westgate turn left, go over the bridge and the Globe Arena is some 200 yards further on, on your left.
