The Shrimps secured their seventh draw in eight games in this entertaning, but goalless game, against Bradford City.
Despite plenty of attacking intentions from both sides they failed to find the target, though the Shrimps had keeper Barry Roche to thank for a number of fine saves.
Both teams came off at half time having hit the woodwork with Phil Jevons clipping a free kick against the post on 25 minutes and Gareth Evans seeing a cross beat Barry Roche but bounce back off the crossbar.
Evans missed two great chances in the final five minutes of the half, the first effort forcing a fine save from Roche before clipping the ball over at the near post.
Morecambe started well with Ian Craney and Jevons twice forcing Simon Eastwood make saves.
The second half came to life in the closing stages when Bradford had striker Gareth Evans sent off 13 minutes from time after a tackle on Roche.
A minute later the Shrimps had a clear penalty turned down when Paul Mullin was bundled over in the box and the game then went from end to end. Roche saved superbly from Luke O'Brien and Scott Neilson and at the other end Mullin forced an excellent save from Eastwood with a looping header.
