Morecambe made it seven wins on the bounce with a fine performance to beat Bournemouth.
Shrimps boss Sammy McIlroy stuck with the same side that beat Port Vale 2-0 at Vale Park last week for the visit of in-form Bournemouth.
The Shrimps produced a stunning first half performance to take a 3-0 lead at the break.
Morecambe took the lead on 14 minutes through midfielder Stewart Drummond. Michael Twiss crossed from the left and Drummond stuck out a leg and directed the ball into the top right hand corner of the Bournemouth net.
Eight minutes later it was 2-0 when Craig Stanley scored with a stunning volley from the edge of the area that dipped over keeper Stech and under the left hand side of the crossbar.
To make maters worse for the visitors the Shrimps added a third with another top quality strike from Laurence Wilson on 24 minutes. The left back cut inside from the left and curled a wonderful right footer into the top left hand corner of Stech's goal.
Bournemouth threatened to get back into the game but were hindered by a straight red card for Marvin Bartley's horrible looking two-footed challenge on Stewart Drummond.
Phil Jevons made it 4-0 with a 50th minute penalty and Mark Duffy added a fifth in stoppage time with a delicate chip over the keeper to put the seal on a fine afternoon.
The Shrimps fantastic run is now up to seven wins on the trot with the last five all clean sheets. To cap it all Morecambe are now in a playoff place after results went their way.
