Morecambe sealed their first win in three games with this victory over Darlington.
The Shrimps had the advantage at the break after an early goal from Phil Jevons.
Jevons struck on 10 minutes after latching on to a superb through ball from Laurence Wilson.
Goalkeeper Barry Roche set Laurence Wilson free down the left with a quick throw and the left back took full advantage with a superb through ball for Phil Jevons and the Shrimps' top scorer finished calmly past Shane Redmond.
The Shrimps continued to look good going forward with Stewart Drummond forcing Redmond into a decent save from Neil Wainwright's cross and Mullin also denied by the keeper.
Darlington also looked useful themselves on the break and Gary Dempsey slashed a shot wide before Barry Roche saved superbly from Alan White.
Jevons had a golden chance to double Morecambe's advantage in injury time when he was put through by Paul Mullin's flick but shot straight at Redmond.
The Shrimps scored their all important second on 57 minutes when Paul Mullin stabbed the ball past Redmond from close range and almost added a third in injury time through Mark Duffy.
Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy made one change for the Shrimps' home clash with Darlington.
Paul Mullin returns to the starting line up in place of Manny Panther as McIlroy reverts to 4-4-2.
