MORECAMBE moved into the League 2 play-off spots with a fine win over close rivals Rotherham.
Two goals in two minutes in the second half gave the Shrimps a victory which moved them up to seventh in the table.
Phil Jevons gave the home side the lead on 57 minutes when he bundled home a Mark Duffy cross from close range.
Simon Hackney made it 2-0 a minute later when Stewart Drummond produced a fine ball into the area and the on-loan winger produced the perfect header to beat Andy Warrington low to his left.

The Shrimps had the better of the opening exchanges with Laurence Wilson forcing Andy Warrington into a good early save and Paul Mullin flashing a header just wide after a great run and cross from Mark Duffy.

Simon Hackney saw a volley diverted into the hands of Warrington before Rotherham came into the game.

The Millers' top scorer Adam Le Fondre began to find space and forced Barry Roche into two decent saves before heading over a cross from the right when Drewe Broughton looked in a better position.

Sammy McIlroy made three changes to the Shrimps side for the visit of Rotherham.

Will Haining and Andy Parrish returned to the back four while Mark Duffy was back on the right hand side of midfield. Darren Moss, Dave Artell and Wayne Curtis all dropped to the bench.
