TEN MAN Morecambe produced a stunning comeback to clinch a thrilling victory over Crewe.
The Shrimps scored three goals in the final four minutes of the game to stun Dario Gradi's side who looked set for three points after Morecambe defender Andy Parrish was sent off on 73 minutes.
Crewe were 2- 0 ahead by the half hour with goals from Joel Grant and Shaun Miller before Morecambe replied through Phil Jevons on 53 minutes.
Clayton Donaldson made it 3-1 just after the hour and when Parrish saw a straight red card the game looked over. Crewe missed the chance to go 4-1 ahead when Miller missed a 74th minute penalty and he was made to pay dearly.
Headers from Wayne Curtis and Paul Mullin set up a thrilling finale before Dave Artell scored four minutes into injury time to clinch a remarkable comeback for Sammy McIlroy's side.

The Shrimps started well with Simon Hackney and Phil Jevons both forcing Steve Phillips into good saves in the opening 10 minutes before Crewe hit back.

Joel Grant's shot was well saved by Barry Roche low to his right before the visitors took the lead on 17 minutes. Shaun Miller had a shot beaten down and Grant followed up to drill a right foot shot past Roche from the edge of the area.

Crewe added to their lead 12 minutes later after a defensive error from Will Haining allowed Miller the easiest of tap ins.

Morecambe hit back with Hackney again testing Phillips and Laurence Wilson firing wide of the right hand post to give the Shrimps hope.

The Shrimps produced some decent football in the first half but conceded two quality strikes from Dario Gradi's side Shrimps' boss Sammy Mcilroy makes two changes for the game against Crewe with Will Haining fit again and Craig Stanley recalled after impressing as a substitute in the win over Torquay last week.
