Two late penalties gave the Shrimps a dramatic win over Torquay.
Laurence Wilson kept his cool to slot home both spot kicks in the final four minutes to hit back after Billy Kee had fired Torquay ahead on 78 minutes.
The Shrimps started brightly with Mark Duffy forcing Stuart Beavon into a good save low to his left after some good work from Chris Shuker.
But Torquay came back strongly and Barry Roche was called upon to make two decent blocks in quick succssion Chris Zebroski and Eunan O'Kane as the visitors tried their luck from distance. Zebroski also went close with a shot on the angle that flew inches wide of the Morecambe goal.
Morecambe produced good moments of their own however with Mark Duffy blazing a shot into the side netting and Bevan saving sharply low down again after a smart strike from Shuker.
The second half saw Torquay start the better with both Lee Mansell and Wroe flashing shots wide from the edge of the area and Mansell seeing another effort well saved by the legs of Roche.
Shrimps' boss Sammy McIlroy made one change to the side that beat Shrewsbury 3-1 last week with Paul Mullin returning up front in place of the suspended Jimmy Spencer.
