Morecambe tasted defeat for the second time in a week when they went down at Hereford Utd tonight.
The Shrimps trailed at the break thanks to Joe Colbeck's late strike.
The Bulls scored on the counter attack on 43 minutes as Kenny Lunt found the former Bradford man in the box and he slotted past Barry Roche.
The Shrimps were level seven minutes after the restart as they worked a good opening for Stewart Drummond. Phil Jevons created the chance with a delightful chip forward and although his first effort was saved Drummond was able to slot the rebound into the empty net.
Morecambe were looking good at this stage but were undone again by some sloppy defending which allowed the home side to take the point. Colbeck turned provider with a cross from the right and MIchael Townsend had a free header which he directed past Roche.
Stuart Hendrie made his first full start for the Shrimps as they looked to bounce back from Saturday's defeat at Stevenage.
Hendrie partnered the returning Phil Jevons up front as boss Sammy McIlroy made two changes.
