Match Report: Morecambe 0-0 Blackburn Rovers - Morecambe 4-0 Bury
MORECAMBE enjoyed an excellent pre season outing as they came out on top of their mini tournament involving Blackburn Rovers and Bury.
The Shrimps drew 0-0 with a strong Rovers side under their new manager Own Coyle before beating Bury 4-0 after an excellent performance which saw goals from Kevin Ellison and Tom Barkhuizen as well as a brace from one of a number of trialists given their chance to shine by Jim Bentley.
The other game of the afternoon saw Blackburn beat Bury 1-0 thanks to a goal from summer signing Danny Graham.
The games were all one hour contests of two 30 minute halfs and played in glorious sunshine at the Globe Arena.
