Roche Injury Update

Tue 11 Apr 2017

Barry Roche’s wrist injury not as bad as first feared.

Shrimps’ keeper Barry Roche received good news after seeing a specialist on his wrist injury yesterday.

It was first thought that Roche would miss the remainder of the season, but after visiting the specialist yesterday he has learned he will not require surgery.

Roche said: “The main thing was to make sure it still has good stability, which it has as it turns out.

“It was still quite uncomfortable so I’ve had an injection and I’ve been told I can get back to it when I feel comfortable enough to do so.

“I’m keen to get back involved as soon as possible but I’ll have to see how it goes.”
