Morecambe Football Club have this afternoon announced that following an FA Commission held earlier today, Alex Kenyon’s Red card versus Plymouth Argyle has been rescinded on appeal.
Jim Bentley commented; ‘I’m absolutely made up for Alex as the commission have backed his claim that he won the ball cleanly. I said on Friday that it was a well-timed challenge, we then looked at the video put our case forward and were hopeful of a positive outcome today. We can now look forward to the home game versus Barnet this weekend with Alex available for selection.’
