Charlie Bailey on his first week of professional football
YOUNGSTER Charlie Bailey says he has “loved every minute’’ of his first week as a professional footballer.
The midfielder, who turned 18 recently, joined the first team squad for the first team after being offered a one year contract for this season and has settled in well.
Charlie, who has bgraduated from the Shrimps’ youth teams, said: “It’s been really hard work but I have loved every minute of it.
“It’s great to be in and around the first team and working with them every day. It’s certainly a big step up and it is definitely far more intense but I have learned something new every day.
“You can’t help but pick up things from the experienced players around you and they have all been keen to help and offer advice as well so it’s been great.
“It’s been tiring as it is so intense but it’s been really enjoyable and I’m looking forward to the pre season games that are coming up.’’
