Outdoor retailer Blacks to be new shirt sponsor
Morecambe Football Club are delighted to announce outdoor retailer, Blacks, as the new shirt sponsor for the 2013/14 season.
The outdoor specialists’ logo will feature on the new look home and away kits, which will be revealed at the clubs annual Gala Dinner on Saturday (29th June).
Blacks are the latest addition to the JD Sports Fashion PLC group and offer the best outdoor products from global brands including The North Face, Berghaus, Merrell, Salomon, Craghoppers and Helly Hansen with exclusive lines from Peter Storm to name but a few.
Group Chief Executive, Barry Bown, said: “This is great news for Blacks to be associated with Morecambe FC through its shirt sponsorship. As a group we were delighted with how our relationship with the club developed last year and we are excited to see this furthered through the Blacks sponsorship.
Morecambe Commercial Director, Mark Dixon, added: “The club is pleased to have secured this partnership with a brand such as Blacks. Last year saw us form a successful relationship with JD Sports Fashion PLC and it’s great to build upon this. We are very excited for the launch of the new kits and are delighted with the final product in terms of design and quality.
Fans can see a brief teaser of the new home shirt but both will be revealed on Saturday evening ahead of being in sale in the Club Shop from 1pm on Thursday 4th July.
