SHRIMPS' boss Jim Bentley goes into the weekend's clash with Carlisle hoping to be able to recall a number of faces into his squad.
Aaron Wildig, Laurence Wilson, Andy Fleming, Tom Barkhuizen and Adam Dugdale all missed the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Bury on Tuesday night with Bentley hoping for some good news on some of them for tomorrow..
He said: “Tuesday’s team at Bury picked itself.
“The 16 in the match-day squad were the only ones that trained on Monday.
“We’ve got one or two who have got a chance of being back this weekend but it might be the weekend after for the others.
“It’s been a hectic schedule and it can take its toll on a small squad.
“We’ve had a little unfortunate couple of weeks but it happens.
“It happened at the start of the season and we did okay it was only when we got back up to full strength that we started losing a couple of games.''
