Tony Diagne joins Lincoln City
TONY Diagne has left the Shrimps and joined Lincoln City on a two year deal.
The defender, 23, is reunited with former Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson and returns to a club where he spent a period of time on loan during the 2012/13 season.
Diagne was transfer-listed at the end of last season, midway through his two-year deal with Morecambe.
He made 31 appearances.
Boss Jim Bentley said: "Sometime you have to make tough decisions and that was definitely the case with Tony last season.
"He is a great lad and we really do wish him well for the future.''
