Fleming stars on awards night

Midfielder receives top honours

ANDY Fleming took the largest share of the votes in the Shrimps' annual presentation evening.
Fleming won the much valued Players' Player of the Year award and also collected the F-Com and Visitor awards.
Padraig Amond also had a good night winning the Golden Boot and taking the vote for the top player as voted by the club's travelling supporters, The Sardines.
The Community Sports Award was shared this year between Kevin Ellison and Tony Diagne for their work away from the field of play. Ellison did receive the Junior Reds Player of the Year award.
The Reserves' Player of the Year was Chris Doyle for the second year in succession with Kyle Lewis winning the Under 18s award and Charlie Bailey taking the Under 17 honour.
The Club Person of the Year award this year went to Head Chef, Graham Aimson, for his superb work in the kitchens and his multi-award winning pies.
Tributes were also paid to Dr Trevor Fleet who is retiring from the position of club doctor after 15 years and Stewart Drummond, who received a special trophy to mark his 600th appearance for the club.
The fans on the evening voted Ryan Williams's free kick against Wolves as the Goal of the Season.
