Shaun Miller misses out on winning a second Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month award.
Morecambe striker Shaun Miller has missed out on winning a second Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month award.
The in-form front man, who won the October award this season, was shortlisted after scoring in four of his five games in January including a clever finish for the winner against Yeovil Town and a long-range effort against Newport County.
But he missed out to Northampton winger Ricky Holmes this time around. The other nominees are Mansfield midfielder Chris Clements, who scored against The Shrimps last week and Oxford United skipper Jake Wright.
Clements had three goals this month, Holmes had two goals and two assists and Wright has been key in helping Oxford keep pace at the top end of League 2.
