Shrimps sign Blackpool striker Barkhuizen on loan
THE club has today added Blackpool striker Tom Barkhuizen to their squad.
The Blackpool front man has joined the Shrimps on loan for an initial one month period and he is set to be included in the squad to face Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium this weekend.
The 21-year-old played 15 times for Blackpool last season. He has had previous loan spells at Hereford and Fleetwood.
Shrimps' boss Jim Bentley said: "I noticed Tom a couple of seasons ago when he was at Hereford. He scored a few goals for them that year and did really well for such a young lad.
"He is someone with pace who has an eye for goal and I am sure he will be a good addition to our squad.''
