MORECAMBE midfielder Fraser McLachlan has agreed a new one-year deal.
The former Mansfield and Stockport man was unfortunate to miss almost the whole of last season after suffering a broken leg in the Shrimps' second game of the season at Preston North End in the Carling Cup.
Shrimps' boss Sammy McIlroy said the deal was a reward for McLachlan's efforts to return to fitness last year.
He said: "Fraser had a terrible year and he deserves another chance to show us all what he can do.
"He worked extremely hard to try and get back to full fitness and it was great to see him get a run-out at MK Dons in the final game of the season.
"He is a player that will never let you down and we hope to see a lot more of him next season.''
