Fraser wants to put nightmare behind him

ONE player enjoying the pre-season exertions more than most is Fraser McLachlan.
After missing almost the whole of last season with a broken leg suffered in August, McLachlan is delighted to be back among the action and says he can't wait for this week's friendlies to start.
The midfielder, who signed a new one-year contract in the summer, is keen to put last season's disappointment behind him and play regular football this summer.
He said: "Last season was frustrating. The injury was by far the worst I have ever had but I didn't want it to get the better of me.
"I always tried to stay positive and think about the future and kept on working so I could to make sure I was at a decent fitness when I came back.
"I did miss the day to day involvement with the lads because that is one of the best things about being a footballer. It's not just the football it's everything else that goes with it off the field and I am glad to be back among the squad full time again.
"Now I want to forget about last year and play as many games as possible this season. I know I will have to work hard but I will be giving it my all.''
Boss Sammy McIlroy praised him for his determination saying: "Fraser has been flying in pre-season. He is an excellent athlete and I am glad he is back.
"It was tough for him last year but he never moaned about things and just got on with it and I know he is keen to try and make his mark this season.
