Midfielder Craig Stanley has not broken his foot.

Some sources suggested that the midfielder broke his foot in Wednesday night's Reserve team clash with Tranmere but they have proved to be off the mark. Stanley went off injured at half-time in the game after suffering a big toe injury. Physio Dave Edge says he has had an X-Ray on the injury which showed no break although it is painful.

Edge also reported that Michael Howard came through his first full game of the season after making a remarkable recovery from his hamstring injury.

Said Howard: "It was good to be playing again. I needed the fitness and it was a fast paced game which will benefit me.''
