It's been a busy Saturday morning at Christie Park with an early inspection passing the pitch fit for this afternoon's clash with Shrewsbury Town in League 2.

And, as if on cue, the club shop has taken delivery of new Puma rain coats and bench coats, guaranteed to keep you warm and dry throughout the winter months. The jackets will be on sale alongside all the other replica gear in the club shop before the game.

The club shop is also the place to go for your FAMILY ticket of two adults and two children for just £25. The ticket has to be bought before the game in the shop and has proved extremely successful so far.

Finally, there were a few groans however when the Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw once AGAIN gave Morecambe an away tie, this time at Chester City, in a game to be played early in October.
