HIghly rated teenager followed in his dad Dave's footsteps by joining the Morecambe first team squad in the summer

The prolific 18-year-old goalscorer  was only a baby when his dad, also a striker, was a member of the Shrimps' first team squad in the 1987-88 season.

David went on to play for Colne before spending five years at Netherfield where he had a spell under the management of Dave Edge, the current Morecambe physio.

Aaron made his first team debut when he came off the bench to score the fourth goal in the win over Lancaster City in the 2006-07 Lancashire Cup but was given his first Football League outing against Chesterfield in October 2008 and made a good impression.

 

Since signing a full time contract he had developed superbly and the Shrimps have high hopes for him.
