First came to the attention of Sammy McIlroy in the club's junior and made his full first team bow earlier than expected due to injuries but never let anyone down and showed great potential with a keen eye for goal. Showed real maturity when scoring in two cup penalty shoot outs and also scored both goals in a 2-1 FA Cup first round win over Grimsby Town. Was a prolific scorer for the Reserve team and his all round game improved substantially as the year progressed.
