Laurence signed a two year contract in the summer after signing from relegated Chester where he had spent the last two seasons, playing more than 100 games. A former England Under 19 international Laurence was an Everton junior who was twice on the bench for the first team in Europe.

Can play at left back or left wing back and is a player who loves to get forward.

Impressed Sammy McIlroy and the Morecambe fans when playing against the Shrimps last season and has proved to be a valuable addition to the Shrimps' squad this year. Scored some excellent goals and won the League 2 Player of the Month Award for November.
