Davies signs for Fleetwood

Posted on: Thu 24 Jun 2010

Former Shrimps' keeper Scott Davies has signed for Fleetwood Town.

The 23-year-old has moved to his hometown club following his release by the Shrimps.

Davies said: "I'm pleased to join the club and start this new challenge. Coming back to Fleetwood has given me a real buzz. I can't wait to start."

Davies played in the 2007 Conference play-off final win over Exeter.

He made his Morecambe debut in 2005 and went on to make 21 appearances for the Shrimps. He will join Ian Craney at Fleetwood after the former Morecambe loanee joined them earlier this summer.
