Aldershot have signed former Morecambe midfielder Emmanuel Panther on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was on loan from Exeter last season and was part of the Shrimps' side which made it to the League Two play-offs. He is Aldershot`s fifth summer signing.

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon said: "This is an important signing for us and I am really enthused that we have been able to attract Manny to the club.

"He is a tall, powerful lad who plays an important role within the team. He's is a good athlete and is excited by the challenge ahead of him. He is raring to go and I am so pleased to be able to welcome him to the club.

"Players are becoming aware of the progress that the club made last season and want to be part of what we are trying to achieve here and that is encouraging. There will be more signings to come but we have made excellent progress this week."
