The former Leeds trainee signed a two-year deal for the Shrimps in April 2008 after making some impressive performances in the second half of the 2007/08 season after being recommended to Sammy McIlroy by Royal Antwerp boss Warren Joyce.
Was largely in and out of the side last season after suffering a couple of niggling injuries but is a player that is held in high regard by manager Sammy McIlroy for his ability to play anywhere across the back line. Also played for Halifax and Portadown he has the unusual honour of playing for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland at junior level.
