Young, versatile, defender who played in a variety of positions during the season after signing from Bury in the summer. Made a number of starts early in the season and soon made an impression with supporters when he scored the winning penalty in a shoot-out victory over Oldham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Suffered an injury midway through the season which hampered his progress and ended up the campaign in the Reserves before starting the last League 2 game of the season. A popular member of the squad because of his willingness to learn and his fantastic attitude and he will be looking to continue his progress next term.
