A promising young midfielder who made his mark with the Shrimps last year after signing from Wrexham in the close season. Fleming came to the fore playing for Dean Saunders's side in the 2008-09 season and went on to make more than 60 appearances. Played two games for the England C side and caught the eye of a number of league clubs before opting for Morecambe when his contract at Wrexham ended.
Made a stunning debut for the Shrimps in a 2-0 win over Coventry City in the Carling Cup, scoring both goal and became the first player to score at Morecambe's new Globe Arena. Played more than 20 league games in his debut season before suffering an ankle injury that saw him miss the end of the last campaign.
