Travelling to Christie Park
By road
Christie Park is within easy reach of the main motorway network.
From the South
Leave the M6 at Junction 34 after approximately a mile move into the right hand lane as you approach a set of traffic lights. Keep right and follow the signs for Morecambe and Heysham. You'll then cross the river and move into the left hand lane follow the signs for Morecambe and Heysham. Continue for approximately for two and a half miles following the signs for Morecambe. At the third roundabout bear left and take the second exit (the ground should be signposted at this point). Continue along this road for approximately half a mile. The ground is on your left. Parking for away fans is available for £3 next to the ground. Additionally there is parking on nearby streets but please be considerate of local residents and do not block driveways or entrances. Also do not obstruct traffic or breach parking restrictions as your vehicle could be removed.
From the North
Either leave at J34 and follow the directions above. Alternatively exit at Junction 35 and follow the signs for Morecambe. After approximately five miles you reach Morecambe promenade continue for about a mile until you see the Broadway Hotel. Turn left here and continue for half a mile until you reach the first small roundabout, take the second exit, almost back on yourself and follow the instructions above.
By rail
Get a ticket to Morecambe. Most services will change at Lancaster, which has direct connections to Manchester, London, Birmingham, Leeds and the South West. Then take the train to Morecambe. You can get off at either Bare Lane and walk to the ground via South Road (across Bare Lane and follow to the end then left and up Lancaster Road to the ground). Or depart at Morecambe and walk via the town to the ground.
