Primary schools invited to take part in Community Cup

Morecambe Football Club Community Sports will be running the Football League U11 boys, 6-a-side community cup later in the month.

The local competition features schools from all over the district, who are battling for the opportunity to represent Morecambe Football Club in the Area Finals and for the ultimate prize of playing at Wembley stadium in the Regional finals.

The competition which is being held behind Christie Park, Morecambe on Friday March 19, between 12pm -3pm, with the two teams who reach the final will go head to head during the half time interval of the Morecambe vs Torquay United match on Saturday March 27.

If your school is interested in taking part in the tournament, squads are a maximum of eight players, and schools can register more than one team if they wish to do so. However, schools must register by 11am on Monday March 15.
