Morecambe Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Howse as a director of the club.
Graham was appointed Financial Controller in 1997 and in 2003 took on the added responsibility of Company Secretary, both positions being non-salaried.
Chairman Peter McGuigan said: "As well as holding two professional positions within the club, Graham has been an ardent supporter since 1974 when his dad took him to Scale Hall Corner to see the team come home with the F.A. Trophy.He has also been involved in a number of fund-raising events for the club, the latest being a 156 mile cycle ride to Lincoln.
"Graham has worked tirelessly for Morecambe Football Club over the years and his appointment to the Board reflects the commitment and professionalism he has always portrayed."
Graham commented: "I am delighted to accept the offer to take a place on the Board as a director and consider it a huge privilege and honour to be invited at such a successful and progressive juncture in the club's history.
"I am looking forward to strengthening the bond between Community Sports and the Football Club and to ensure the club continues to operate on a firm financial footing."
