Boss Sammy McIlroy said he felt his side did more than enough to win the derby clash with Accrington.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw at Christie Park he said: "We gave them a freak goal and then did everything but score for the next 40 minutes. We hit the woodwork twice in quick succession and that it the way things are going for us at the minute. When you are struggling these things seem to happen and it is frustrating for everyone at the moment.
"But I was happy with the way we played and there is no doubt that the new system is making a difference. The players seem to be enjoying it and there is no doubt that we are looking a more attacking force. We just need a bit of luck at both ends of the field and when we do I am sure we will turn the corner.''
