McIlroy happy with Rotherham point

Boss Sammy McIlroy says the point against Rotherham was a fair result.

After an entertaining 0-0 draw at the new Globe Arena Sammy said: "I thought some of the football both teams played was excellent and it was a great advert for League 2.

"Both teams had a couple of chances to take the points but in the end I think a draw was a fair result.

"We passed the ball around really well and with a bit more quality in the final third could have threatened more. The new players are settling in well and I think both teams are stronger than they were last year.

"It would have been nice to get our first win but it is a long season and the signs are pretty promising at the minute.''
