Boss Jim Bentley says his side must put Sunday's FA Cup exit behind them and continue their hunt for more success in League 2.
With no cups left the Shrimps can now concentrate on the league and Bentley says the next target for his side this season is to reach the 50 point mark as soon as possible, hopefully starting with three points this weekend against Crewe.
Bentley watched Crewe at the weekend, in their first game under new boss Steve Davies, and said he was impressed.
He said: "They're a decent side and were the better team against Colchester for most of the game despite being down to 10 men for a long period. They have all been brought up to play football and they have a new manager so will be eager to impress and if we are not at our best we will get punished.'
Bentley also said he hoped that people who came to the game on Sunday for the first time in a while, might come back this weekend.
He said: "It should be an entertaining game though with both sides looking to play football and I hope those people that came on Sunday that had not been to the Globe for a long time come again.
"The atmosphere was fantastic on Sunday and it was great to see so many people there getting into the spirit of things and it would be great to see them again.''
