Morecambe take on Macclesfield at the Moss Rose in the first round of the Johnstone's Paints Trophy. on Tuesday night.

The Shrimps will be looking for the first win on their travels this season against the Silkmen who go into the game looking to register their first win of the season after Saturday's solid 1-1 draw against Chesterfield.

Morecambe are currently one place above the Silkmen in the League Two table with the same number of points, but above the Blues on goal-difference.
