JIM Bentley collected his first win as Morecambe Reserves' stand-in boss with victory over Accrington.
In his third game in charge Bentley saw two second half goals give his side a comfortable win and rthey could have had more goals but for some superb saves from Dean Bouzanis.
Wayne Curtis was heavily involved in the first half and missed a golden chance to open the scoring when through one on one against Bouzanis but unfortunately shooting straight at the on loan Liverpool keeper.
But Curtis was to reap the rewards of his efforts on the stroke of half time when an attempted Stanley clearance rebounded into his path and on this occasion he made no mistake from 10 yards out.
The second half saw the Shrimps continue to look the more threatening and they added two more goals through Ben Kitchen on 65 minutes and Ricky Ball seven minutes later.
Fraser McLachlan continued his comeback and was partnered in midfield by Stewart Drummond who is also recovinering from his recent back injury in a side that also included Dave Artell, Wayne Curtis and Scott Davies.
