Scott is a young goalkeeper promoted from the Youth Academy in the Summer of 2005.

He made his debut in the LDV Vans Trophy against Bradford City as a second half substitute when Ryan Robinson had to go off injured.

Davies spent the Summer of 2006 on trial at Crewe Alexandra but he wasn't offered a deal with Dario Gradi's team and returned to Morecambe.

He was thrown in at the deep end towards the end of the 2006/2007 season when first choice goalkeeper Steven Drench dislocated his shoulder in the playoff semi final second leg against York City.

Scott was brought on to replace Drench and didn't put a foot wrong in the semi final or the final at Wembley.

He went on trial at Gillingham in the Summer of 2007 but didn't win a contract and signed a one year deal with Morecambe. Upon signing he said: "I am delighted to have signed again and I am looking forward to the season."
