Profile
Lee Dodgson made his name playing in the Morecambe reserve team where he picked up the player of the year award for the 2002/2003 season.
His performances for the reserve side saw Jim Harvey award him a place in the first team squad for the following season.
Dodgson is a tricky winger who can operate on either the left or the right side of midfield.
He made his first team debut away at Shrewsbury Town in the Nationwide Conference where Morecambe went down 2-0 with goals from Luke Rodgers and Jimmy Quinn.
In the 2004/2005 season he had a fantastic game at Grimsby Town in the LDV Vans Trophy, helping a young Morecambe side to victory over their League Two opponents on penalties.
He joined Leek Town on loan
on the 20th of January 2006 along with Jamie Davies. After a successful loan spell at Leek he decided to move back to the Unibond Premier Division on a permanent basis with newly promoted Fleetwood Town.
