Profile |
Shaun Garnett was half of a double raid made on Halifax Town in November 2003 when he and Kevin Sandwith were subject to bids from Morecambe.
Sandwith turned down the move, calling it a sideways one, but Garnett arrived on a months loan.
During his loan spell the veteran centre back suffered an injury which required an operation but Jim Harvey still decided to make his move permanent.
Garnett was unfortunate with injuries during his short time with the football club but his experience was a welcome addition to the Morecambe defence.
At the end of the 2003/2004 season manager Jim Harvey decided to release Garnett on a free transfer. |
