Chris Neal joined Morecambe on an emergency loan deal from Preston North End for the Nationwide Conference Promotion final after Steven Drench was injured in the semi final against York City at Christie Park.

He was named on the substitutes bench but didn't see any playing time before returning to Deepdale.
