Profile
Simply put, John "Stormin" Norman is a Morecambe legend. He was signed from Mold in the summer of 1994 and spent five seasons at Christie Park before moving to Hednesford Town in May of 1999.

A small section of the Morecambe crowd were less than happy with Norman when he made this move, claiming that money was the driving force behind him leaving the club.

His career at Hednesford was a short one and he re-signed for Morecambe less than a year later. He spent two more years at Morecambe before being released by Jim Harvey at the end of the 2001/2002 season. He signed for Burscough and won the FA Trophy in his first season with the club.

One of the most memorable moments during his time with Morecambe was the FA Trophy Quater Final at Margate in the 2001/2002 season. Morecambe were trailing 1-0 until Norman came off the bench and grabbed a brace to send the Shrimps through to the semi final where they lost out to Stevenage Borough.

John Norman made 273 appearances for Morecambe and scored over 100 goals.
