Shrimps look to avoid away day blues

JIM Bentley says his side must go back to basics when they make the journey to a revitalised Wycombe on Saturday.
The Shrimps  have lost six of their last seven league games away from the Globe Arena – ironically at a time when their home form has improved dramatically - and Bentley says that record must change.
He said: “It’s the worst run we have had away from home for some time and it has come just when we are beginning to find our feet at home which makes it all the more frustrating.
“Overall I think we have deserved better with the performances we have put in but we have not had the best of luck and things have gone against us at vital times. The game at Coventry was similar as we matched them for large periods of the game but gave goals away at vital times and that is something we have done a bit too regularly lately. We have got a lot of experience in our squad but I still think we need to be a bit more streetwise.
“It’s something we have to think about and get back to basics. We had some great results away from home early in the season and we looked really solid. We didn’t concede a goal in the first three games and that is what we must look to do again.
“Wycombe have won their last three games and are another side who have a new manager who seems to be doing a good job. There is no doubt that it will be another tough game for us but we will prepare well as always and make sure we give them a battle.''
The Shrimps will be without Andy Fleming who picked up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday.
