Mawene to appear for Shrimps
FORMER Preston defender Youl Mawene is set to appear for Morecambe in a friendly against his former club on Saturday.
The French defender has been training with the Shrimps in an effort to keep fit and will play some part in the game this weekend.
The 32-year-old made more than 170 appearances for North End before being released in 2010 and spent part of last season at Aberdeen under former boss Craig Brown.
