Dutch legend set for the Globe
SHRIMPS' boss Jim Bentley says fans should be excited about the prospect of Holland legend Edgar Davids visiting the resort on Saturday.Bentley says he is looking forward to welcoming the man who won 74 caps for his country but also said his side needed to focus on winning the three points.
He said: "It's a privilege to have someone like Edgar Davids playing at the Globe and I am looking forward to seeing him.
"I hope the fans turn out in numbers as well to watch him close up because it is not often that someone of his calibre comes to Morecambe.
"At the same time though we have to remember that we are out to win a game of football. We have done well at home recently and should have beaten Accrington on Saturday but somehow didn't turn pressure into points.
"The goal on Saturday is to get the three points.''
