Defender exits the club
MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley has confirmed that Nick Fenton is to leave the Shrimps.Fenton, who is out until the rest of the season through injury, has been told he can leave the club.
Bentley said: "He's a big player for us and I wanted him to stay but we can't agree a deal to keep him here.
"He has recently qualified as a physio and there is no point him travelling to Morecambe for treatment when he won;t play again this season so we have said he can leave and get in some hours and look to find himself a new club.
"He's a great lad and a great player who we will miss and we with him well.''
