Get to the Globe to support the gaffer
ALL Shrimps fans are invited to a special Family Race Night on Friday (February 22nd) at the Globe Arena in aid of Jim Bentley's testimonial fund.
All eight races have been sponsored and the evening itself kindly supported by Bay Camera & Communications. The doors open at 7pm and the first race will be at 7:30pm. You are not obliged to partake but the stake is a very low £1 for each bet with half the money going to prize money and half to the fund.
Fun is the main goal of the evening and many of the players will be attending in honour as well as the man himself. There will be a raffle and also a Disco.
The event is open to everyone and entry is absolutely free.
