McGowan gets squad number
YOUNGSTER Aaron McGowan could become the Shrimps' youngest ever Football League player at York after being included in the squad this weekend.The 16-year-old defender is a scholar with the club's EPP scheme and has been given the squad number 21. He is set to travel with the first team to Bootham Crescent this weekend and could be included in the squad for the game.
McGowan has impressed the Shrimps' junior coaches this season and was one of the pick of the players when the club met Manchester United at the Globe Arena recently.
