Special offer for Cheltenham game
MORECAMBE Football Club has today announced a ticket promotion for their first ever Friday night football game @ the Globe Arena v Cheltenham Town on January 18th, 7.45pm kick off.
Adults can pay on the night for £10 with concessions priced from £8 and juniors costing only £3
Tickets for the PMG Main stand are available from £14 for adults, £12 for concessions and £5 for juniors.
Commenting on the initiative Commercial Director Mark Dixon said; “Morecambe Football Club is committed to making League 2 football affordable for all of our fans.
“Everyone who attended our game v Dagenham on Tuesday night will hopefully have left the Globe Arena after having a positive experience and enjoyable night out. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic and the players responded with a great second half performance to win 2-1 and more importantly secure three points.
“With this ticket price promotion we are hoping to attract a crowd close to 2,500 for the first Friday night match to be played at the Globe. Please tell all of your friends, family and work colleagues to come down and support Jim and the lads, let’s get the place noisy and support the team to another victory.”
Shrimps’ boss Jim Bentley backed the promotion saying the crowd definitely played its part in the win over Dagenham this week.
He said: “The atmosphere was amazing and it made a massive difference. The lads really responded well to the crowd and were inspired by the numbers that turned up I am sure of that.
“It was a great night and I would urge as many fans as possible to come again and get behind us like they did on Tuesday because it was a memorable night.’’
